Go4 Translator ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome extension that translates messages in WhatsApp Web, Telegram Web, and Discord. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Message text for translation: When you click translate, the selected message text is sent to our API to perform translation. This text is not stored or logged — it is processed in real time and immediately discarded.
User preferences: We store your language settings and per-contact preferences locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device.
Email address (optional): If you sign in, we use your Google account email to associate your Pro plan subscription and usage quota. We do not share this with third parties.
Translation is powered by the Google Cloud Translation API. Message text sent for translation is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google does not use this data to train its models.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
Translation requests are not stored. User preferences are stored locally in your browser and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome's extension storage.
